Welcome to the new Year both the auspicious Chinese New Year of the Pig and 2019! The next few weeks are most exciting and we invite you to one of our first public community events – CNY Haymarket Heartbeat on Saturday 9 February 2019 from 12:30pm – 7:00pm.

Along south Sussex. Little Hay and Dixon Street, CNY Haymarket Heartbeat aims to engage, celebrate and promote Haymarket during this significant cultural time through a multi-sensory day of music, flavours, performance and dance.

These Haymarket streets will transform into a vibrant arena for street culture, street food and Asian Australian cultural performances all centred around a live main stage. Audiences will be treated to a highly eclectic program ranging from ensembles of traditional Asian instruments to urban hip hop with a unique DJ stage featuring DJ Dumpling.
